Support Your Community Center

The JCC Donor Tree was built to honor those individuals and businesses who have helped to build the Community Center and all those who continue the tradition of community support through future donations.

The Giving Tree is viewable in the JCC lobby during regular business hours: 8-5 Monday-Friday, 9-1 Saturday.

The JCC welcomes donations of any size.

All donations are cumulative. Donations are acknowledged and receive a receipt for tax purposes.

The Donor Tree was designed to recognize six levels of tax-deductible giving:

  • Bronze Leaf - $250 - $999
  • Silver Leaf - $1,000 - 2,499
  • Gold Leaf - $2,500 - 4,999
  • Silver Acorn - $5,000 - $9,999
  • Plaque - $10,000 - 24,999*
  • Plaque - $25,000+*

Tax Exempt Status

The Joliet Community Center received its tax exempt status in June, 2000. We are a federally designated 501(c)(3) organization. We are also designated as a public charity and we are qualified to receive tax deductible requests, devises, transfers and gifts to our organization as tax deductible. Donations and memorial gifts to our organization are tax deductible to the full extent of current tax laws.

Those who give monetary donations, memorial gifts and tangible items to the JCC will be given a receipt for tax purposes.
